My vision for this project is a detailed poster of an abused dog with bullets of valuable facts about the signs and statistics of animal abuse in order to raise awareness on the subject.
Lately I have achieved more in a short amount of time than I had the whole amount of time I had before.
In all honesty, I am very bad at communicating at communicating with the others in my group.
I suppose, the others in my group do have some kind of direction when it comes to tasks and providing support.
I can say that I have learned how to blog from this experience.
I need to learn how to better communicate with my group mates.
Sky, I'm curious about your statement that you are struggling to communicate well with your groupmates. I think you are strong at communicating with staffmates in Journalism - is there anything you can apply from your work in Period 7 to your work on this project?
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. I believe it may have something to do with how focused they are with they're work and how often they decide to include me in their conversations. Often times they get distracted easily. It's hard to remind them to get them back on track because I end up coming off very mean and bossy but that's the only way they listen. Maybe if they included me in their conversations once in a while, I would feel more comfortable asking them things and they would be more comfortable listening to me. I will try to engage in regular conversation with them more often so that we will both be more comfortable with communicating with each other.
