Power in the Classroom

My project involves trying out strategies that are intended to increase students' power in the classroom.  One of these strategies is the "curriculum integration" strategy that has led to our conflict projects (in periods 2, 3, & 5) & our equality projects (in period 4).  My hope is that students will find value in designing a project with classmates and with my support, and that they will feel that our class is a space where they can pursue learning that is meaningful to them.
